Day 02 - Shanghai
Day 03 - Shanghai/ Kaifeng
The whole morning is free for you to arrange on your own. You may go shopping or scroll around the famous Nanjing Road to experience its modern atmosphere. Lunch is on your side and you can take some local flavor. The last stop in Shanghai is the afternoon visit to the well-known Yuyuan Garden, which is acknowledged as "an architectural miracle in the region south of Yangtze River. After that, take an overnight soft sleeper train to Kaifeng. (B)
Day 04 - Kaifeng/ Luoyang
You will be picked up by our guide in the morning after you walk out of the railway station in Kaifeng. You will head for Kaifeng Museum after the breakfast served in the hotel. You can take the chance to see the well-documented exhibit on Jewish history, the Qingming Riverside Scene Park to see the Kaifeng Judaic Exhibition, the former Jewish quarter, then followed a local Jewish family visit. After that, the tour in Kaifeng will be concluded after the sightseeing to the cemetery of Jin (Gilbert), another Jewish family and the Iron Pagoda. Then you will take the coach to Luoyang and be transferred to the hotel (B, L)
Day 05 - Luoyang
The first site arranged for you today is the famous Chariot and Horse Pits, the precious relics of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. You will visit the famous birthplace and cradle of Shaolin Kongku - Shaolin Temple and the White Horse Temple, which is said to be the first Buddhism temple found in China. After that you will be transferred to your hotel. (B, L)
Day 06 - Luoyang/ Xian
The short stay in Luoyang will be finished after the breathtaking visit to the Longmen Caves, which is just on the list of one of the four well-known grottoes in China. You will appreciate the ancient Chinese people's wisdom after your visit there. Then you will head for the well-known starting point of the Silk Road - Xi'an by taking the express way. Enjoy the beautiful scenery en route. Your guide in Xi'an will pick you up from the railway station and then a rich buffet dinner will be served in the hotel after you get there. (B, L, D is only for Luxury Series)
Note: Buffet dinner is only served for Luxury series, while for the Standard series you can taste some local flavor near the famous Muslim street.
Day 07 - Xian
The visit to the world eighth wonder - The Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will make your visit to Xi'an worthwhile. The grand site of the warriors and the vivid potted horses will give you the illusion that you just went back to the strong and prosperous Qin - Dynasty. The lunch today will be also specially arranged for you in a famous downtown restaurant. You will know more about Chinese cuisine after your delicious meal. The schedule for the rest day is also very attractive, including the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. The Wild Goose Pagoda is famous not only for its historical value in Buddhism but also the special architectural style. While for the well preserved City Wall, which record the ups and downs of this city, just like a royal gateman protecting this fertile land, you can take the chance to walk on the wall and have a bird view from different angles in its four watchtowers. This evening' arrangement differs between Luxury series and Standard one, please refer to the below for details. (B, L, D)
Note: Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace is arranged for Luxury series while Standard series will have the Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Music and Dances Show at Shaanxi Opera Theater.
Day 08 - Xian/ Beijing
This morning, you will visit the Huajue Lane Great Mosque, one of the earliest built on a comparatively large scale, and the best-preserved mosque in China. Then a visit to the local family will concluded your short stay in Xi'an. You can get the chance to contact the local people to know their life style. Take the flight to your last stop - Beijing after an abundant a la carte lunch in a famous restaurant. You will be met by your hospitable and competent guide after you go through the baggage claim area in Beijing Capital airport and transferred to the well-chosen hotel to rest. (B, L)
Day 09 - Beijing
Today's tour will begin with strolling across the famous and large square in China - Tian'anmen Square, which witness the development of this city and the whole China. Then you will enter the fabled and imperatorial Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate on the north side of the square. With the mysterious architectural layout, it is easy for foreigners to get lost if you are not familiar with the Chinese architectural styles. It is wiser for you to follow your guide to appreciate its majesty. You will enjoy an a la carte lunch at nice restaurant, then the visit to another well-know and amazing site, which is even bigger than the Forbidden City - The Temple of Heaven is scheduled for you in this afternoon. As Chinese emperors called themselves "The Son of Heaven", they dared not to build their own dwelling, "Forbidden City" bigger than a dwelling for Heaven. After the wonderful sightseeing for your eyes, the delicious Beijing Duck Dinner is served for your stomach and then the wonderful Chinese Kungfu show is prepared for your eyes at Red Theatre. Day 10 - Beijing
It is once in a life time experience to walk upon the grand Badling Great Wall. As the Chinese saying goes "A man can not be called a true man, if he never comes to the Great Wall". With the elevation of 1000 meters, it was a rare ancient military defense project. You may see the wandering mountain ranges when you climb up the Great Wall. To celebrate this historic and meaningful visit, your lunch is particularly arranged at a local popular Sichuan restaurant. Later, after you go through the vivid stone-built figures and animals - the Sacred Way, you enter into the imperial mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Yijun, the thirteenth emperor who occupied the throne the longest during the Ming Dynasty, and his two empresses. A rich western buffet dinner is served for you at your hotel this evening. (B, L. D)
Day 11 - Departure from Beijing
